German Tradition, Handcrafted with Care

Raised with my mother’s German traditions, I learned the craft of handmade strudel one delicate layer at a time. What began as a cherished family recipe eventually became Oodles of Strudel, where every strudel is still made with the same care, authenticity, and dedication to quality.

Handmade from our family recipe since 2009

!["Cartoon]("https://oodlesofstrudel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Fall-October-Fest-2026.png" ""Fall")

The Story Behind Blueduckcreations

The history of Blueduckcreations is woven together with the spirit of the Old West and the loyalty of a good horse. The name comes from Lonesome Dove — the legendary Western tale that captured the grit, heart, and resilience of frontier life. Just like the characters in that story, our journey has been one of courage, perseverance, and staying true to who we are.

But the real inspiration came from our paint horse, BLUE. He was more than just a horse; he symbolized strength, trust, and the beauty of tradition carried forward.

![]("https://oodlesofstrudel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Blue-3.png" ""Blue")

The Heart of Our German Baking Tradition

That same spirit carries into our baking. Raised on my mother’s German traditions, I grew up learning the craft of handmade strudel, layer by delicate layer.

What began as a cherished family recipe became the heart of Blueduckcreations. In 2009, we opened our strudel bakery, Oodles of Strudel, where we proudly share authentic, handmade strudels with our community.

Tradition Carried Forward Through Every Strudel

Today, we blend those Old-World flavors with the rugged character of the West, creating strudels that are as much about story and heritage as they are about taste.

Each one is made with care, authenticity, and a dedication to quality that reflects both our roots and our journey. Every strudel we bake is more than just a pastry; it’s a piece of heritage, a story passed down, and a way of keeping tradition alive.
